NURSE PHONE CONSULTATIONS
If you contact the practice and request an urgent / same day appointment, you will speak with one of our qualified nurses for triage.
The triage process allows a nurse to assess the urgency and nature of your health concern and then determine the appropriate course of action. This may be an appointment with a Doctor or Nurse Practitioner at the practice or another treatment option (ie. attend Pegasus 24 Hours Surgery).
However, in some instances, the nurse triage process may turn into a nurse consultation over the phone. If this occurs, our team will advise you of the options available to you before proceeding. You will be able to either book an appointment with a Doctor/Nurse Practitioner, or continue on the call. There is a charge for Nurse Phone Consultations.
