Tamariki aged between 4 and 5 years are eligible for a FREE Well Child check at Burwood Health.

The check is an opportunity for you to talk with one of nurses about your child’s development and wellbeing before they start school.

The check includes the following:

  • Height
  • Weight
  • Current immunisation status
  • Health and wellbeing
  • Advice and support for learning and development, as well as strengths and difficulties

 

As a part of your visit, our B4 School Check nurse will complete a questionnaire with you about child’s development and wellbeing and offer brochures and information to help both you and your child as they enter the next chapter of their life.

Please make sure that you bring your child’s Well Child Tamariki Ora Health Book to their appointment.
