Due to the current demand on our nurses’, Burwood Health is implementing a new charge for nurse phone consultation services.
Our nurses provide clinical advice to patients both in practice and over the phone. Previously the practice has not charged for advice given by our nurses.
From Monday 29th May 2023, all non-urgent nurse phone consultation that do not result in an appointment with a doctor, will incur a fee.
Our nurses are still available to triage all urgent requests, however, if your call is deemed as non-urgent, the nurse will discuss charges with you before proceeding.
