If left untreated, this condition can become severe, however, speaking with your doctor or nurse about ways to manage the condition and understanding your blood glucose levels is a big step in managing your health.
Burwood Health now has dedicated diabetic appointments available with a nurse for a review of your overall health. These 30 minute appointments will involve a blood test (completed prior to the appointment) and a review of the results, a foot check and any other diagnostic follow up and are Government funded.
